Buds Series
This is a series of interactive web based resources that
immerses students in an environment as a small business operator.
Students are encouraged to discover opportunities to sell and
develop their product in order to win an award for finding business
opportunities.
The students help a farmer to sell fresh flowers to business and
retail customers. Students are encouraged to think creatively to
find new market opportunities and meet demand, enabling the farmer
to win an award for business innovation. The economic consequences
of business decisions are quantified. The graphics are clear and
entertaining and require limited reading of text. The activities
are graduated through the four activities to suit Years
Foundation-2, 3-4 and 5-8.
