provided for teacher and parent use. Use the database to search for

type.
All resources have been vetted by a quality assurance process.
We explain how each resource relates to the National
Consumer and Financial Literacy Framework and the Australian Curriculum.
Many resources are free and easily downloaded.

This ASIC MoneySmart Teaching digital activity gives learners a chance to organise a 'day out' for their class. They choose where they would like to go, how they will get there, what they will eat for the day, and what activities they can afford to take part in when they get there. These choices all need to fit in to a fixed budget. Those making wise decisions and having money left over will be able to buy a souvenir at the end of the day.
It is a stand-alone resource and leads into the MoneySmart unit of work 'Our Big Weekend Adventure'.
