This section describes some technical aspects of the Teaching Financial Literacy website.

Features of our website

The webpage toolbar provides many useful options:

Text size:You can adjust the text size by clicking on these icons located at the bottom of each page

Print page:The Print Page button will print any page in a print-friendly format. You can use it to create a 'fact sheet' on the topic

Email to a friend:This allows you to email a page URL to a friend

Send to Facebook:This allows you to share the page with your friends on Facebook

Tweet this:This allows you to share the page with your friends on Twitter

We aim to provide a website that is accessible to all users by:

Complying with World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards
Following mandatory requirements set out by the Australian Government Information Management Office (AGIMO)
Using XHTML to ensure the page can be viewed correctly in all browsers
Ensuring our content is readable on screen and by other devices:

'Skip to content' link has been added to allow text-only browsers or screen-readers to bypass primary navigation and skip directly to the page content
Adobe Reader can be used to access information contained within a PDF
Adobe MakeAccessible Plug can create a tagged PDF to assist screen readers
